On Thursday, January 1, 2009, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho will host The Great Polar Bear Challenge at Spring Shores Marina at Lucky Peak. You can help by raising money for Idaho children who are facing very difficult times. These children are undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses and need the encouragement of loving, caring individuals to carry them through. Show your support for these special children by participating in this heroic act and demonstrating that we can all brave adversity for the right cause.

The Great Polar Bear Challenge 2009 does not require a registration fee; however, donations are greatly appreciated as the funds will go towards benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Idaho. “Make-A-Wish Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals and corporate supporters to provide the funding and in-kind resources necessary to create an amazing wish experience for each and every wish child.” As a Polar Bear participant, we encourage each person to set a personal goal of raising at least $50. All funds raised at the Polar Bear Challenge will help grant the wishes of Idaho children.
